Phillips Industries started in the United States in 1928 by Hugh Phillips. Nearly 100 years later, Phillips Industries is still a family owned company and producing some of the world's best quality truck electrical components. Dura-Seal® & DryBox™
The Dura-Seal® by E-max® is the first modular plug and play wiring harness/loom system that is built specifically for Australian trailers.
The product is designed and manufactured here in Australia to exacting specifications for the client (some generic systems available). All splices and joins are sealed from harms way by either a ‘Flexine’ polymer or a flame retardant V1050 PVC used in the dangerous goods applications. This makes the harness what we call – ‘environmentally sealed’ i.e. all splices, joins and copper are sealed ‘ to become resistant to the nasties of the environment, such as water, oil, diesel and dirt etc. All of these contaminants eventually corrode and destroy the wiring, which in turn reduces the effectiveness or completely destroys the performance of your lights.
The Dura-Seal® DryBox™ has been designed to be used in OE assembly applications. The DryBox™ is primarily uned in, but not limited to, the heavy transport industry. It's design base is a sealed, dangerous good approved junction box, rated with an environmental rating of IP67. It's primarily designed for power distribution at the rear bumper area of the chassis on trucks and heavy tankers and trailers. The DryBox™ eliminates multiple splicing in harnesses and delivers an easy point for electrical trouble-shooting and access to easily add aftermarket accessories, without breaching the integrity of the OE wiring system. DryBox comes with a limited 10 year warranty delivering peace of mind to the OE and their customers.
