Reason the product is withdrawn
In the event of a short circuit involving the product, the circuit breaker intended to protect the wiring harness may fail, causing internal contact arcing resulting in the circuit breaker remaining closed.
The hazards to customers or users
If the product fails, it may overheat, which may cause the fuse terminal to melt and increase the risk of an electrical fault causing a vehicle fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death.
What customers or users should do
E-Max customers and operators of vehicles should immediately replace the following fuses;
· 24V Vehicle Operating System- Replace fuse P/N AT1-015 or 22715-00 with P/N LV5594
· 12V Vehicle Operating System-Replace fuse P/N AT1-030 or 22730-00 with P/N LV5596
